Logistics Automation Analyst
Job Objective
Under a five-year contract, the Logistics Automation Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support in the implementation and use of joint and Service logistics automated tools and web access portals (MAVEN, C2IE, LOGCOP, IDE/GTN Convergence (IGC), Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA), Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (ISDDC), RF-ITV Automated Movement and Identification Systems (AMIS), Single Mobility System (SMS), Air Force Tracker, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Standard System (DLA DSS)), and familiarity with commercial carrier websites
- Afford assistance in ensuring USMC distribution requirements are integrated into global, national and theater logistics automated systems
- Perform liaison and coordination with HQMC, HQ USCENTCOM, and other military staffs, as required
- Maintain the ability to travel and work overseas
- Execute In-Transit Visibility assessments
- Perform and administer technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development, execution, and tracking of the Marine Corps primary transportation operations agencies
- Cook up and track the movement of equipment and materiel through the distribution pipeline and influencing traffic policies and programs
- Ensure In-Transit Visibility (ITV) objectives to obtain the most efficient freight transportation services at the most economical cost, as well as real time tracking of the freight, and personal property is adhered to in accordance with policies and regulations
- Provide in-transit recommendations concerning matters covered by Marine Corps policies and procedures
- Serve as the Information Technology representative for the MARCENT Logistics Section (G-4)
- Support G4 equipment inventory accountability assessments
Requirements
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas
- Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01 and Air Force Manual 17-1301
- Must be able to complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, ST5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD Central Adjudication Facility (DoD CAF) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of performance and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract
Qualifications
- Education & Certification: Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
