About the role
The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking an Intern for its Aerospace, Transportation, and Advanced Systems Laboratory (ATAS) for Fall 2026. The intern will assist with logistics in the procurement and receiving process, identify areas of inefficiency, assist with logistics of inventory management, manage Bills of Materials using database tools, and perform physical inventory audits.
Responsibilities
- Aid in logistics of the procurement and receiving process
- Identify and address inefficiencies in the logistics process
- Assist with logistics of inventory management
- Manage Bills of Materials using database tools
- Perform physical inventory audits
- Cope with vendors, suppliers, and engineers
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/STEM, business, or related fields
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Full-Time Intern - Must be registered for Full-time Internship Credit
- Ability to come in to CCRF in person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to clearly communicate with suppliers, vendors, and engineers
- Ability to handle/lift and deliver parts
- Customer Service Experience
- Relevant Work Experience
Qualifications
- 40 hours per week
- US Citizenship
- Active security clearance required
