Logistics and Facilities Manager (Onsite)

About the Role
As the Logistics and Facilities Manager, you will oversee day-to-day facility operations, manage strategic partnerships with DHL and other service providers, and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems, maintenance programs, and environmental health and safety (EH&S) initiatives. You will also play a key role in optimizing logistics performance through KPI management, carrier and customs coordination, inventory and scrap processes, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, and safety teams. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in facilities management, warehouse operations, and third-party logistics (3PL) oversight who thrives on driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead 3PL operations with DHL, driving KPIs, weekly reviews, and monthly performance updates.
- Manage core facility operations, including mechanical systems, fire suppression, security, access control, and alarm response.
- Execute routine EH&S and preventive maintenance tasks, including AED checks, safety inspections, ergonomic assessments, incident reporting, and new-hire training, while performing scheduled preventive maintenance across facility systems to ensure compliance and reliable operations.
- Coordinate maintenance for grounds, building systems, material-handling equipment, and company vehicles.
- Serve as the primary contact for landlords, contractors, and facility service providers.
- Oversee carrier and customs activities, contingent worker processing, and inventory scrap/disposal workflows.
- Handle P2P (invoice approvals), freight audits, and scrap certification.
- Occasional travel (10%) may be required.

Requirements
An Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations, facilities maintenance management, logistics, or a closely related field, OR a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience; OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing facilities or warehouse operations within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, medical device, automotive, pharmaceutical, or similar).
- Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Strong understanding of facility maintenance programs and preventive maintenance systems.
- Knowledge of EH&S regulations and workplace safety programs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered when extending an offer include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
