Use analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, and/or control Logistics operations and processes. Solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management’s goals and standards. Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, able to support multiple projects and/or Logistics business functions, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team, interact with multiple levels and functions within the Logistics organization, and manage vendor/business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create and analyze reports (25%) to support business execution.
- Develop business tools and solutions (25%) based on knowledge, product, or technology, and identify Logistics process improvements.
- Support vendor/business partner relationships (15%).
- Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models (15%).
- Perform data management (10%) through data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and/or problem analysis while executing day-to-day processes related to area of responsibility.
- Support the business through ad-hoc queries and maintain reports (10%) from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or ocean freight operations.
- Understanding of ocean carrier operations, import processes, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Excel, BigQuery/SQL, PowerPoint, Tableau, and Word.

Schedule & Travel
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
- On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions
- Located in a comfortable indoor area; any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
