5 month contract ONSITE Fort Smith AR Pay rate $30-36/hr W2 The Temporary Logistics Analyst will support the logistics team during a period of increased activity and heightened project workload. This role is critical as the organization manages major initiatives. The Temporary Logistics Analyst will provide analytical, operational, and coordination support to help maintain service levels, ensure accurate financial processing, and reduce execution risk during this high-demand period. Key Responsibilities • Analyze logistics and transportation data to support day-to-day operations and project decision-making • Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc logistics reports, metrics, and summaries • Perform freight rate, accessorial, and overall transportation cost reviews • Conduct carrier invoice audits, validation, and coding to ensure accuracy and timely processing • Assist with data review, documentation, and issue identification related to the Blue Yonder TMS setup • Support RNDC/Oxygen RTM changes through data analysis, coordination, and operational follow-up • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including logistics, finance, and operational teams • Communicate and collaborate with external partners such as carriers and third-party logistics providers • Provide general support for additional logistics initiatives and ad hoc projects as assigned Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain analytics preferred • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with TMS platforms (Blue Yonder preferred) a plus • Familiarity with freight rate structures, transportation costs, and invoice auditing • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Critical Skills and Competencies • Detail-oriented and process-focused • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable supporting both operational work and project-based initiatives • Adaptable and able to ramp up quickly with minimal training
