Overview

ITC Defense is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) in San Diego, California. This position supports the Australian F/A-18 program by contributing to the sustainment of mission-critical aviation systems and international defense initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics, technical data management, and lifecycle sustainment support for the Australian F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales program.
  • Manage, track, and maintain Foreign Distribution Requirements Lists (FDRLs), technical publications, and related distribution requirements.
  • Monitor U.S. Navy Technical Directives (TDs), Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRACs), Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs), and other technical documentation affecting program sustainment.
  • Submit, track, and manage Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) within the Joint Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS), providing status updates and customer feedback as required.
  • Develop, maintain, and update logistics documentation, technical data, automated logistics systems documentation, management information systems, and program records in accordance with program requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, research, and evaluate logistics, maintenance, sustainment, acquisition, and technical data supporting Foreign Military Sales programs.
  • Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analyses and evaluations supporting Department of Defense weapon systems and lifecycle sustainment activities.
  • Support lifecycle sustainment planning, maintenance engineering initiatives, and logistics planning efforts to improve program readiness and operational support.
  • Analyze logistics and technical data to identify trends, issues, risks, and recommendations supporting program execution and sustainment objectives.
  • Maintain large technical data repositories, publication inventories, and supporting logistics databases.
  • Support the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) and Logistics Element Manager (LEM) with logistics planning, sustainment activities, and acquisition support.
  • Review Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sustainment and acquisition documentation supporting program requirements.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, metrics, briefings, technical summaries, and status updates supporting Government leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Coincide with Government personnel, contractors, OEMs, and international stakeholders while participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), meetings, technical reviews, conferences, and program briefings.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to logistics, technical data management, and sustainment processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of program objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from an accredited college or university, or an additional five (5) years of directly related acquisition or operational logistics experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance or the ability to maintain one.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience supporting acquisition logistics, operational logistics, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), maintenance engineering, or related logistics disciplines.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent experience supporting acquisition logistics, lifecycle sustainment, or maintenance engineering activities.
  • Experience performing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analyses, and evaluations supporting Department of Defense weapon systems.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and metrics development.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Government personnel, contractors, and international stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
  • Experience supporting tactical aircraft sustainment programs, preferably F/A-18 platforms.
  • Experience supporting Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs), Logistics Element Managers (LEMs), or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Experience managing Navy technical data, publication distribution requirements, Technical Directives (TDs), Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs), Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRACs), and the Joint Discrepancy Reporting System (JDRS).
  • Experience reviewing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sustainment and acquisition documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing logistics data and developing reports, metrics, executive briefings, and program documentation using Microsoft Excel or similar data management tools.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy logistics processes, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program execution, and technical data management.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the range is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
