Logistics Analyst (Clearance Required)

SSI needs to add an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy. Responsibilities: Technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resourcesDevelopment of logistics support and maintainability programs or plansSystems acquisition requirements analysisBudgetary or financial analysis and controlLife cycle cost analysis and controlWeapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibilityIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and executionILS/R&M program management analysisCollecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, researching, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and informationDeveloping, modifying, preparing, and validating documentation in relation to automated logistics and maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systemsInterfacing with program stakeholders within the program office, outside vendors, and Fleet Support Team representativesRequires roughly 20% a year CONUS and OCNUS travel. Requirements: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearanceMust have Navy Weapons experience to include medium and large caliber weapon systemsBS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or ManagementAllowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degreeAt least six (6) years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineeringA minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis as well as experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems or equipment, both air vehicle and avionics This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
