About the role
The MISTC Logistics Administration Specialist supports daily site operations, logistics, and administrative functions under the direction of the MISTC Site Lead. This role provides end-to-end support for training coordination, travel, procurement, equipment inventory, and documentation management to ensure seamless execution of the Marine Corps Information Systems Training Center (MISTC) mission.
Responsibilities
- Supports daily site operations, logistics, and administrative functions under the direction of the MISTC Site Lead.
- Provides end-to-end support for training coordination, travel, procurement, equipment inventory, and documentation management.
- Maintains accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Aids in system configuration documentation.
- Coordinates instructor travel and scheduling.
- Ensures compliance with Marine Corps, TECOM, and MSTP policies.
- Assists in the creation, editing, and control of MISTC Letters of Instruction (LOIs), trip reports, and deliverables.
- Assists in the scheduling and coordination of Instructor travel, MTT deployments, and resource distribution.
- Participates in Initial Key Personnel Training (IKPT), New Equipment Training (NET), and internal certification programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- GCSS-MC certification or equivalent logistics system training preferred.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master Certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative or logistics experience supporting DoD or USMC programs.
- Prior experience in a training or operational support environment preferred.
- Experience working in classified or controlled facilities desirable.
