Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and execute logistical actions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or designated program.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Lead and complete complex projects.
- Identify critical logistics requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services) needed to support the assigned effort.
- Plan, advise, and align logistics requirements with applicable policy, procedures, and guidance.
- Implement and align logistics requirements as part of an IPT.
- Develop and advise on alternative courses of action to adjust to funding, requirements, and schedule adjustments.
- Ensure Asset Management and Material Accountability are compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Support or lead a supply chain risk management working group and ensure supply chain assurance is compliant with applicable policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Accomplish a Logistics Health Assessment.
- Support or lead development or updates to a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
- Implement and manage a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) program.
- Work independently; applies proper procedures and processes; problem-solves and troubleshoots to achieve outcomes within established program/project guidelines (under oversight of more senior personnel as needed).
Requirements
- DoD 5000.
- Product Support Business Case Analysis.
- logistics integrated product support model.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the discipline.
- 3 years of which must be in the DoD Top Secret/SCI Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
