Journeyman Logistician

Responsibilities

• Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support.
• Establishes and enforces standards to ensure proper training and equipping of the assigned workforce.
• Develops, initiates, integrates, and manages all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
• Integrates the spectrum of logistics processes within the operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments.
• Directs the integrated logistics process.
• Develops support policies, procedures, and systems.
• Provides implementation guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in integrated logistics support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Preferred qualifications include experience supporting NAVAIR weapons systems in various phases of acquisition with a heavy focus on managing the system to and through the Operations and Support phase.
• Must hold an active Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
