About the role

The Stockroom Associate supports daily warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring accurate material handling, timely fulfillment, and adherence to standardized processes. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity within the stockroom and enabling efficient material flow to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management — Receive, verify, label, and store inbound materials according to established inventory control procedures.
  • Material Handling — Pick, pack, and issue materials to production or distribution teams based on work orders, transfer requests, or system-generated tasks.
  • System Transactions — Perform all inventory movements, adjustments, and confirmations within the enterprise system (e.g., Infor WMS/ERP) to maintain real-time accuracy.
  • Cycle Counting — Participate in scheduled cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and root-cause analysis to support continuous inventory accuracy.
  • Stockroom Organization — Maintain clean, safe, and optimized storage areas, ensuring compliance with layout standards, labeling conventions, and safety guidelines.
  • Quality & Compliance — Inspect materials for damage, verify documentation, and follow all company, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Support — Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to resolve material issues and support operational priorities.
  • Continuous Improvement — Identify process gaps and contribute to workflow enhancements aligned with Lean and Infor-driven best practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer literacy. Ability to learn and apply new systems and processes quickly.

Benefits

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
