About the role

The Sales Lead at LOFT plays a crucial role in supporting and role modeling excellent customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personalized customer experiences
  • Providing guidance and support to associates
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to become an expert on store functions
  • Assisting store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team
  • Supporting an inclusive store environment for associates
  • Upholding the highest visual and operational standards
  • Using tools to drive a customer-focused team environment and profitable business
  • Providing in-the-moment feedback and coaching to each associate
  • Building productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team
  • Using technology to stay informed on company priorities and promotions
  • Seamlessly stepping into the role of manager when needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 6 months of retail sales experience (preferred)
  • Management experience (preferred)
  • Technology proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale system
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Takes initiative in making thoughtful decisions
  • Organizes, delegates, and prioritizes assignments to stay on top of deadlines

Qualifications

  • Experience in a retail setting
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
