Lodging Development Manager

About the role

The Franchise Division of Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to support the regional franchise sales teams in implementing corporate development strategy for the Red Lion Hotels family of eight brands across 900+ franchised hotels in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing corporate development strategy.
• Target key markets, as directed by RVP’s and SVP’s.
• Provide sales support for Lodging Development Team.
• Implement and execute franchise sales policies and practices.
• Franchise sales lead generation.
• Aid the team in meeting and exceeding targeted goals for new development.
• Provide recommendations for franchise sales marketing and advertising.
• Respond to franchise inquiries.
• Build, develop, and manage relationships with existing and prospective owners.
• Attend appropriate industry events.
• Support senior management in the mission, vision, and values of the company.

Qualifications

• Resourceful Developer: Build trust on and among new and existing franchises, organize resources, establish priorities, and manage the needs of each franchise.
• Tech-Savvy: Well-developed technical skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and with a multitude of owners.

• Expert in Travel: Navigating the complexity of air travel to maximize benefits for timely location access.

Additional Job Information

• Anticipated Pay Range: $50,000 to $60,000. Base pay offer may vary based on various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and overall experience.
