LODGE HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

About the role

Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor at Grand Portage Lodge, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager. Directly supervises work activities of 6 to 10 housekeeping personnel to ensure clean, orderly attractive rooms in hotel and similar establishments.

Responsibilities

• Assigns workers their duties.
• Inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree; or one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.

Pay

$16.38 per hour.
