About the Role

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are currently seeking a Transfusion Medicine Pathologist/Hematopathologist to provide locums coverage for their established program. The candidate must be board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP). The ideal candidate would be board certified in blood bank/transfusion medicine with at least 3-5 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide locum tenens coverage for Transfusion Medicine Pathologist/Hematopathologist duties
  • Work closely with the established pathology department
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient care

Requirements

  • Board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • Board certified in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in the field

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with rotating night and weekend call

Pay
