Locums Sourcing Specialist
Pipeline Development & Candidate Sourcing
Build and maintain a strong sourcing pipeline of locum tenens clinicians (physicians, CRNAs, NPs, PAs, and other providers) across specialties, states, and licensure types to meet current and future requisitions.
Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates using online directories, professional associations, data enrichment and AI-enabled sourcing tools, social media, and referral networks.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns, including email outreach, job postings, and direct networking, to attract and engage qualified providers.
- Conduct initial outreach and screening calls to assess provider availability, interest, licensure status, and qualifications.
- Maintain active, segmented candidate lists (by specialty, license, state, and availability) to support ongoing and future sourcing efforts.
- Transition qualified candidates to Candidate Recruiters in a timely manner with complete, accurate handoff notes.
- Represent the company at recruitment conferences, job fairs, and professional networking events to build direct sourcing relationships with providers, as needed.
Candidate Data Management
Accurately enter and maintain candidate demographics, CVs, licensing details, history, and communication notes within the CRM.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of candidate data within the CRM to enable fast, informed follow-up and placement by the Recruiting team.
Recruiting Team Collaboration
Partner closely with Candidate Recruiters to understand active requisitions and prioritize sourcing efforts accordingly.
Share candidate market intelligence, including locum tenens supply trends, competitor activity, and provider availability, to inform sourcing strategy.
Provide regular pipeline status updates to Recruiting leadership.
General
Meet or exceed sourcing and pipeline-generation targets set by Recruiting leadership.
Perform other sourcing-related duties as assigned to support the Recruiting team's objectives.
