Locums Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage 8-12 patients per 8-hour shift across all ages in a fast-paced psychiatric emergency program (CPEP) above the ER.
• Handle patient discharges, with 70-80% of patients typically discharged.
• Potentially provide med/surg floor consults during overnight shifts.

Schedule

• Primary shifts: 12 AM – 8 AM weekdays and Sunday nights.
• Shift duration: 4 to 16 hours, with preference for 8-12 hour shifts.

Requirements

• Strong psychiatric assessment and emergency management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure setting.

Pay

Competitive hourly compensation from $185.00 to $220.00, including base pay and potential additional earnings.
