Locums Psychiatrist

About the role

Seeking a locum tenens psychiatrist for inpatient acute psychiatric care with a focus on admissions, inpatient rounding, and managing a diverse range of disorders including anxiety, psychotic, affective, and personality conditions. Familiarity with involuntary commitments and restraint application is preferred.

Responsibilities

The role involves Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with guaranteed 8-hour shifts and 35-40 hours per week. Key duties involve inpatient psychiatric assessments and management, seeing approximately 10 patients per shift, split between new and follow-up cases.

Qualifications

Qualifications include fellowship training and relevant experience.
