About the role

This role involves providing psychiatric emergency services in an inpatient hospital setting, primarily focusing on clinical duties with minimal administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site ER coverage during weeknights and weekends.
• Manage an average of 2 new consults and 2 follow‑ups daily, with volume ranging from 1 to 5.
• Cover patients of all ages requiring psychiatric consults and follow‑up care in both the emergency department and medical floors.
