Locums Position in OR for Anesthesiologist

About the role

Hospital setting locum tenens position covering general, trauma, thoracic, neuro, vascular, orthopedic and other surgeries; no cardiac, pediatrics, or transplant cases (acute pain team handles blocks).

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 133 adult cases per weekday.
• Care for ASA 1‑6 patients, with most in the ASA 2‑4 range and a case mix index of 2.3.
• Provide anesthesia for general, trauma, thoracic, neuro, vascular, orthopedic and related procedures.
• Exclude cardiac, pediatric, and transplant cases; acute pain team performs blocks.

Schedule

• Monday‑Friday, 7 am – 5 pm with 1‑3 hours of overtime weekly
• Open to Saturday/Sunday 10‑hour day shifts
