Locums Medical Oncologist

About the role

Seeking a medical oncologist for a locum tenens role with an outpatient focus. The position involves managing 15-18 adult patients daily, providing chemotherapy, pain management, and end-of-life care, and participating in a mix of medical and hematologic oncology. The setting is 95% outpatient, with radiation and surgical oncology managed by on-site providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage 15-18 adult patients daily
• Provide chemotherapy, pain management, and end-of-life care
• Participate in medical and hematologic oncology
• Provide outpatient oncology services
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends (approximately one week per month)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with required call including weekends (approximately one week per month).
