Locums Medical Oncologist

Locum tenens medical oncologist role with a focus on outpatient care in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

• Manage 15–18 adult patients daily, providing chemotherapy, pain management, and end-of-life care
• Participate in both medical and hematologic oncology
• Provide outpatient oncology services and on-call coverage, including weekends (approximately one week per month)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Required on-call coverage, including weekends (approximately one week per month)

Setting

95% outpatient, with radiation and surgical oncology managed by on-site providers.
