Locums Medical Oncologist

About the Role

This position involves inpatient hematology and oncology coverage, supporting daily rounds and on-call duties, primarily focusing on adult patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage new consults with a 60% hematology and 40% oncology split
• Perform bone marrow biopsies (most handled by Interventional Radiology)
• Conduct occasional intrathecal chemotherapy
• Support inpatient care and provide coverage for vacation periods
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers
