Locums Medical Oncologist

About the role

Outpatient position managing 10–16 adult patients daily, primarily in medical oncology (75%) and hematology (25%). Focus on breast, colon, lung, prostate cancers, and multiple myeloma. No procedural duties; occasional phone consultations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient care in a clinic setting
• Oversee and collaborate with advanced practice providers
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to manage patient cases effectively

Requirements

• Strong expertise in medical oncology and hematology
• Excellent communication skills for patient care and provider oversight

Schedule

4–5 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
