Locums Gastroenterologist

About the role

This position involves providing outpatient Gastroenterology services, including colonoscopies and endoscopies, with responsibilities such as supervising fellows, managing consults, and handling leave coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform 8-10 outpatient procedures daily
• Cover consultative services and call on a weekly basis
• Participate in general GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies
• Supervise fellows during procedures
• Provide leave coverage as needed

Schedule

• Weekday hours from 9 am to 5 pm
• Night call from 5 pm to 9 am (pager from home)
• Full weekend 24-hour call, Saturday 9 am through Monday 9 am

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in general GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies, and be capable of supervising fellows.
