Locums Gastroenterologist

This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on ERCP, upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, and liver biopsies. It requires managing an average of 20 patients per shift and handling 10-25 phone consults within 24 hours. The position includes 24-hour in-house call shifts over 7 consecutive days, with responsibilities such as rounding and holiday coverage. Key qualifications include ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic skills, with preferred experience in upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, and liver biopsy. The role offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and competitive compensation.
