Locums Family Practice/Obstetrics

About the role

This position provides clinical and obstetric/section coverage on a locum tenens basis, supporting large healthcare networks, hospitals, or clinics nationwide. Physicians will manage approximately 150 deliveries each year, perform C‑sections and other women’s health procedures, and have 24‑hour access to a dedicated healthcare consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and OB/section coverage with a minimum of 7 days per month.
• Perform C‑sections and other women’s health procedures.
• Manage roughly 150 deliveries annually.
• Document assignment details and enter time via an online portal.
• Participate in on‑call duties as required.

• Board certification in the relevant specialty.
