Locums Family Practice/Obstetrics

About the role

Family medicine provider responsible for clinic and hospital duties, including outpatient care, obstetrics, and collaboration with a midwifery practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full-spectrum family medicine clinic with OB support, seeing 12-18 patients daily.
• Provide hospital rounding when on call, with call requirements of 5-7 day stretches and an average of 2-3 calls per 24 hours.
• Perform newborn circumcisions in hospital settings.
• Have relevant experience with waterbirth (preferred).
• Must have delivered at least 15 babies in the past year.

Qualifications

• Experience in obstetrics, specifically with deliveries and newborn care.
• Knowledge of waterbirth practices is a plus.
