Locum Thoracic Surgeon

This role involves providing specialized thoracic care with a focus on general thoracic, esophageal, and thoracic oncology cases. The position requires advanced VATS and robotic surgery skills and 2-5 years of post-training experience. Responsibilities include performing 2 days of clinic consultations with 40-minute visits and follow-ups1 day of surgery with blocked time for elective and urgent cases and managing 10-12 cases per month The role is part-time, with a commitment of1 week per month Additional duties include shared thoracic call coverage. Qualifications include strong surgical expertise, experience in thoracic procedures, and the ability to handle elective and urgent cases efficiently. The position offers competitive hourly rates from $375.00 to $450.00, inclusive of all earnings, with paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and access to a dedicated consultant.
