About the Role
This position is for a Radiation Oncology specialist providing inpatient coverage in a hospital-based outpatient practice serving an adult patient population. Coverage is temporary to fill a maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 10-15 adult outpatient patients daily
- Participate in tumor board discussions
- Utilize Varian equipment when possible
Schedule
- 2-3 days per week, Monday–Wednesday
- Shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No call or holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Familiarity with Varian equipment preferred
- Experience with EMR systems ARIA and EPIC
Support & Resources
- On-site support staff includes RN and MA
- Physics, dosimetry, and therapy services available on-site
- No leadership or teaching responsibilities
