About the Role
A Radiation Oncology specialist is needed for inpatient coverage in a hospital setting, providing outpatient care to adult patients with a primary focus on tumor treatment. The position involves using Varian equipment and participating in tumor board meetings. On-site support includes radiation therapists, physics, dosimetry, RN, and MA staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation treatments to patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in tumor board meetings
- Ensure accurate documentation using ARIA and EPIC EMRs
Requirements
- Experience with Varian equipment preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ARIA and EPIC EMRs
Schedule
Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Expected patient load of 10–15 daily, excluding treatment days. No call, weekend, or holiday coverage required.
