About the role

Seeking a psychiatrist for inpatient acute psychiatric care in a locum tenens role. This opportunity provides flexibility for healthcare professionals seeking a locum tenens lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Manage 16‑18 patients per shift, focusing on anxiety, affective, and personality disorders.
• Perform follow‑up evaluations at a ratio of 1:4.
• Document patient encounters via an online portal with 24‑hour access to a dedicated consultant.
• Provide ECT experience (preferred).

Requirements

• Experience with involuntary commitments, restraint application, pharmacotherapy, and seclusion therapy.
• ECT experience preferred.

Skills

• Expertise in psychiatric treatment modalities.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings.
