Locum Tenens Psychiatrist

About the role

This role involves inpatient adult psychiatry with a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, including 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, with overnight call when on duty.

Responsibilities

• Manage 12-15 patients per shift
• Conduct 3-5 consults daily
• Handle new admissions directly
• Provide after-hours coverage for inpatient, consult, and ED admissions
• Ensure quality patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements

• Experience in inpatient psychiatry
• Strong clinical skills
