Locum Tenens Pathologist

Seeking a specialized pathologist to provide GI surgical pathology sign-out with a focus on frozen sections and blood/body fluid smears. The role involves multi-hospital system coverage for general frozen sections across sites, excluding pancreas and liver cases. Responsibilities include approving GI cases and collaborating with subspecialty-trained pathologists via telepathology consulting. The position requires approx. 175 GI cases per week and frozen section expertise. Ideal candidates will have strong frozen section and smear skills. The commitment involves 2-3 weeks per month. Compensation is competitive, with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing.
