Role Overview
This is a locum tenens Physician Assistant (PA) position specializing in family practice with urgent care services. The role involves providing patient care in a clinic serving primarily Spanish-speaking farm-working families.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing 20-27 patients per shift
- Performing office procedures such as suturing, splinting, joint injections, and IUD care
- Delivering comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment
- Handling diverse clinical tasks and catering to the specific needs of the patient population
Qualifications & Skills
- NCCPA certification
- Strong procedural skills
- Spanish language proficiency preferred to effectively communicate with patients
- Flexibility to handle a variety of clinical duties
