Locum Tenens Obstetrics Gynecologist

This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a flexible scheduling environment. Responsibilities include performing OB ultrasounds, C-sections, forceps deliveries, laceration repairs, and in-office GYN procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, LEEP, and cryosurgery. The practitioner will manage approximately 208 deliveries annually and see about 15 patients per shift, with a guaranteed 8-hour workday. Key requirements include proficiency in obstetric and gynecologic procedures, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications entail relevant medical training and experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Key duties involve patient care in diverse settings, performing various diagnostic and surgical procedures, and maintaining efficient practice operations.
