About the role
This role involves providing obstetrics and gynecology services in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Call coverage requiring a 30‑minute response time and a 1:3 call ratio
- Performing approximately 20‑25 clinic patient consultations per shift
- Managing 1‑6 inpatients
- Delivering around 700 babies annually, including rounding on unassigned patients
- Carrying out vaginal deliveries, low forceps, C‑sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Performing surgical procedures such as open and laparoscopic gynecology surgeries
- Administering office gynecology procedures like IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
Requirements
- NRP certification
- ACLS certification
