About the Role
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NNP) specialized in Neonatology to provide inpatient care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include delivering care in an 8-bed Level III NICU and LDR couplet care rooms, with an average daily census of 9–11 patients. You will manage a team and collaborate with in-house OB hospitalists to ensure high-quality neonatal care.
Required credentials: VA licensure and DEA certification. Coverage begins as soon as credentialed.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Deliver comprehensive neonatal and obstetric care in a busy hospital environment
- Lead and manage a care team in the NICU and LDR couplet care rooms
- Collaborate with in-house OB hospitalists to ensure high-quality neonatal care
Requirements
- Advanced neonatal nursing skills
- Current VA license
- DEA registration
Schedule
16-hour shifts.
Additional Information
The NICU handles approximately 1,250 annual deliveries, with a focus on specialized neonatal care.
