Locum Tenens Neurologist

Role: Emergency Medicine Physician providing coverage in a hospital setting Responsibilities: Managing ED, stroke program, and inpatient consults with no clinic duties. Performing radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar punctures, thrombolytic therapy, and pain management procedures. Preferred skills include EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, nerve/muscle biopsies, brain death exams, Botox, and nerve blocks. Schedule & Coverage: 12-hour shifts with day and night call, beeper call only. No stroke certification required. Qualifications & Skills: Clinical expertise in radiologic interpretation, emergency procedures, and preferred neurodiagnostic skills. Ability to handle call responsibilities effectively.
