Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist

Role Overview

This position involves providing inpatient cardiology coverage in a hospital setting, primarily focusing on interventional and noninvasive cases. The clinician will work 24-hour shifts, managing approximately 10-15 patients per shift, with responsibilities including NUC reading and activity, and active fluoroscopy certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing a mix of interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology procedures
• Responding promptly within 20 minutes to urgent calls
• Engaging in inpatient care and diagnostic activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical experience
• Active fluoroscopy certification
• Experience with NUC reading and activity
