Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist

About the role

This role involves providing inpatient cardiology services with a focus on both general and electrophysiology (EP) cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology services covering weekdays with an APC.
• Manage weekend general and electrophysiology (EP) cardiology hospital services.
• Perform procedures such as TEE, inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMI, and EP interventions.
• Respond to urgent inpatient and consult cases during weekends with a 30‑minute call response time.

Schedule

• Work 10 days per month.
• Shifts are 9 hours plus night call.
• Maintain a 10/10 call ratio and a 50% callback rate.
• See approximately 15 patients per shift and 15 patients during on‑call periods.

Qualifications

• Relevant cardiology experience.
• Proficiency in electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
• Ability to handle urgent cases efficiently.
