Locum Tenens Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

This position provides inpatient and outpatient care for adult patients, emphasizing outpatient services (approximately 90% of the workload) with minimal inpatient duties (about 10%).

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient rounding each morning.
• Work in the outpatient clinic later in the day.
• Manage a daily caseload of roughly 12‑20 adult patients.
• No procedural responsibilities are required.
• Document daily responsibilities through an online portal.
• Maintain hospital privileges.

Qualifications

• Current, relevant medical licensure.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality care to adult patients.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Comfort with a flexible, primarily outpatient assignment.
