Locum Tenens Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

This position is for a healthcare professional at an outpatient oncology center with light beeper call (phone only, 2 to 5 calls per week) and leave coverage.

Schedule

• 8 to 10 hour shifts
• 4 days per week
• Light beeper call: phone only, 2 to 5 calls per week
• Phone consultations: approximately one per day

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care
• Conduct phone consultations (about one per day)
• Coverage for leave
• Collaborate with a team of 3 additional permanent providers

Qualifications

• Relevant medical credentials
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle outpatient oncology cases
