About the role
Seeking a hospital-based general surgeon for locum tenens coverage in a dynamic medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform emergency general surgery, trauma, and endoscopy procedures
- Handle an average of 2 consults daily
- Conduct patient rounding
- Provide emergency surgical care and manage trauma cases
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Schedule
- 24-hour shifts, with options for consecutive or split days
- One week of call per month
Requirements
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
Qualifications
- Strong procedural skills
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
