Locum Tenens General Surgeon

Responsibilities

In-house locum physician providing adult patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, handling 1-3 patients per shift with 1-3 admissions per call.

• Perform trauma and laparoscopic surgeries
• Possess expertise in head/neck, breast, and vascular surgery
• Conduct GI endoscopy procedures including upper, lower, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
• Place chest tubes, central lines, and PA catheters
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes and provide leave coverage as needed

• Head/neck, breast, vascular surgery
• GI endoscopy
• Invasive procedures such as chest tube and central line placement
