About the role
Seeking a physician with expertise in laparoscopic surgery to provide Emergency General Surgery (EGS) coverage across multiple hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Perform laparoscopic procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
- Preferred skills in chest tube insertion and vascular surgeries
- Manage 8-20 patients per shift
- Handle 3-5 admissions daily
- Provide system-wide call coverage
- Coordinate care within a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in laparoscopic procedures
- Ability to handle EGS cases efficiently
Schedule
- 12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
- No trauma coverage required
