About the role
Seeking an emergency medicine physician for hospital-based shifts, including varied hours such as day, night, and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities
- Delivering babies in the emergency department
- Managing a patient volume of 7,000–8,000 annually, with 0.75–1 patients per hour (PPH)
- Providing emergency care
- Ensuring patient safety
- Collaborating with hospital staff
Qualifications
- Board certification
- ATLS certification
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Skills
- Comfort with obstetric emergencies
- Strong clinical judgment
Schedule
- At least 5–7 consecutive shifts per month
- Shift patterns: 8 am–8 pm, 12 am–12 pm, and 8 pm–8 am
