Locum Tenens Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for inpatient cardiology coverage in a 99-bed cardiology department. Responsibilities include inpatient cardiology rounding, ICU coverage, and both attending and consulting duties. Support a patient load of 15-20 per shift with independent NP support and provide weekday call coverage with a 30-minute response time. No outpatient or invasive procedures are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient cardiology rounding and ICU coverage
• Conduct echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI procedures
• Participate in inpatient care, including ICU rounds
• Provide weekday call coverage with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Experience in cardiology procedures such as echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
