About the Role
This position is for a Physician Assistant in a hospital-based setting with outpatient clinic duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient care with 6-8 patients per day (PPD), 1-2 ICU patients, and 2-4 daily consults.
- Perform procedures such as echo, stress tests, EKG, cardiac catheterization (cath), transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), cardioversion, and nuclear tests.
- Provide outpatient clinic services with 16 patients per day (PPD).
Schedule
- Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
- 1:3 call expectation (approximately 10 days per month).
- No supervision required for the Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
Requirements
- Experience with medical procedures (flexible based on background).
- Strong clinical skills.
- Ability to handle both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
