Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesia Coverage

About the role

Seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to provide coverage in a large surgical department with a focus on cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and neurosurgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Managing 5-8 patients per shift
• Responding to beeper calls within 20 minutes
• Performing general anesthesia when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Participating in a team environment
• Maintaining high standards of patient care
• Adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• Certification in TEE with 30-40 TEEs completed in the past year
• Relevant certification
• Clinical experience in large surgical settings
• Ability to work flexible hours with weekend availability

Skills

• Proficiency in open heart, complex vascular, and neurosurgical procedures
• Ability to handle diverse surgical cases
